Who We Are

A Community That Builds Leaders

RCCG YAYA Canada (formerly YASM) is the vibrant youth and young adult wing of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Canada. We are a national youth-focused registered charity organization in Canada committed to equipping young people with the tools, networks, and confidence to thrive in this generation. Our motto, “BE THE EXAMPLE” (1 Timothy 4:12), is not just a slogan—it is our mandate to live lives of integrity, excellence, and service.

We combine mentorship, faith-centered guidance, leadership training, and career development to support youth holistically, spiritually, socially, and economically.

We don’t just run programs. We cultivate transformation.

The problem

Today’s Youth Are Navigating Complex Realities

Across Canada, many youth, especially those from racialized and faith-based communities, face:

  • Limited access to mentorship

  • Career uncertainty and underemployment

  • Identity and cultural barriers

  • Mental health challenges

  • Lack of safe spaces for growth

Without structured support systems, many young people struggle to confidently step into leadership and adulthood.

YAYA Canada exists to change that.

our impact so far

  • Youth served across multiple provinces

  • Hundreds of mentorship hours delivered

  • Career workshops and leadership events hosted

  • Growing national network of mentors and partners

Every young person who walks through YAYA’s doors leaves more confident, more equipped, and more connected.

A Story of Transformation

When I joined YAYA, I was unsure of my direction. Through mentorship and the Village Council, I gained clarity about my career path and confidence in my faith. I now lead confidently in my workplace and community.”
